Volito vs HyperFrames.
HyperFrames, from HeyGen, writes video as HTML and renders it in Chrome. Volito writes motion graphics as programs and renders them with no browser. The speed numbers are on the benchmarks page; this page covers everything else.
Checked against HyperFrames 0.8.226 and Volito 0.3.0 (speed measured against HyperFrames 0.8.188) on 2026-11-01, from each tool's own site and npm. Sources.

| How it renders | Node runs the program, resvg turns the SVG into pixels, FFmpeg encodes. No browser. | Headless Chrome seeks each frame; FFmpeg encodes |
| Ready-made graphics | 107 items and 36 brand styles | About 450 blocks and components, installed as editable source |

Pick HyperFrames for
- About 450 ready-made blocks and components to Volito's 107
- Whole videos: footage, an audio mix, captions and colour grading
- WebGL 3D, shader effects and Lottie, through the browser
- Studio, a visual editor in the browser and on the desktop
- Cloud rendering on HeyGen, AWS Lambda or Google Cloud Run
- 76.7k GitHub stars and a fast release pace
Whole videos, and anything that needs a browser's full toolbox.
The two can combine: HyperFrames can drive any pure function of time through registerFrameSource, so a Volito graphic could play inside a HyperFrames project. We have not tried it yet.

Questions
Is Volito a HyperFrames alternative?
For motion graphics, yes, and a faster one in our tests. HyperFrames covers more: footage, audio, a visual editor and about 450 ready-made items. Volito focuses on graphics in your brand, rendered with no browser.
How much faster is Volito than HyperFrames?
Against HyperFrames 0.8.188 on an Apple M4 Mac, Volito rendered the same graphics 1.9–7.5× faster and answered an agent's still, preview or check 9–14× faster. The method and every number are on the benchmarks page.
Why is Volito faster?
It never starts a browser. HyperFrames boots headless Chrome and screenshots every frame; Volito runs a program that returns SVG and rasterises it in the same process, drawing a frame that has not changed only once.
