Pick Volito for

  • Lower thirds, titles, charts and transitions ready to fill in, not built from scratch
  • Your brand on every graphic: 36 styles or your own DESIGN.md, at 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and 4:5
  • Overlays with real alpha (ProRes 4444, HEVC, WebM) for Premiere, Resolve, Final Cut and OBS
  • Rendering with no browser to download or start
  • An MIT engine with no per-seat or per-render fee at any company size
  • Agents that preview, check and render through MCP, with their code sandboxed

Graphics in your brand, rendered fast, from code or an agent.

Pick Remotion for

  • Whole videos: footage, audio, captions and complex layouts
  • Anything the web can draw, written as React components
  • A large ecosystem: 69.5k GitHub stars, templates and a long record in production
  • Serverless rendering on AWS Lambda and Google Cloud Run
  • Teams that already build in React

Whole videos, built the way a React team builds an app.

They work side by side. Render a Volito graphic to ProRes 4444 or WebM with alpha and use it as a video layer wherever you put video, a Remotion project included.

Questions

Is Volito a Remotion alternative?

For motion graphics, yes: lower thirds, titles, charts, kinetic type and transitions you fill in and render in your brand. For whole videos with footage and audio, Remotion does more; Volito makes the graphics that go on top.

Is Volito faster than Remotion?

We have not benchmarked Remotion yet. Volito renders without the browser Remotion uses, which made it 1.9–7.5× faster than HyperFrames, another browser-based renderer, in our tests. We will publish Remotion numbers once we have measured them the same way.

Does Volito need a company licence?

No. The engine is MIT and the packs are free to use in any video, personal or commercial, at any company size. The one limit is that you may not resell the packs as templates.

Can I use Volito from React?

A Volito graphic is not a React component: it is a frame(t, $) function that returns SVG, so the same graphic runs in Node, in the browser player and in an agent's sandbox. The browser player works in any app, React included.
